About Me

As a young girl, I was gifted a digital camera, and I immediately put it to use. I spent hours in my bedroom staging still lifes and convincing my cat and dogs to pose for what I believed were very serious, Vermeer-inspired portraits. (They may not have agreed.) What began as play quickly became something more — a creative outlet I carried with me everywhere.

Photography, like life, is ever-evolving. My curiosity about the arts led me to study art history in college, where I learned to see light, composition, and visual storytelling in a deeper way. At the same time, I was drawn to child and family psychology — fascinated by how people evolve, connect, and relate to one another. Later, I earned my MBA and built a career as a human resources consultant, partnering with individuals and organizations to better understand leadership, relationships, and the human experience.

That blend of creativity and insight continues to shape my work behind the camera. I don’t just look for beautiful light — I look for authentic connection, subtle expressions, and the quiet dynamics that make each person or family uniquely themselves.

Becoming a mother deepened that perspective in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. I understand now, firsthand, how quickly seasons shift — how tiny hands grow, how personalities bloom, how the ordinary days become the ones you long to remember. That awareness informs every session. My goal is to create a space that feels calm, natural, and unhurried, where genuine moments can unfold and you can simply be with the people you love.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time with my family, friends, and our crazy corgi, Charlie.
